The second reason why I enjoy the English class is the high expectation that teacher Viola sets on us. She even goes to an extent of rewarding students who score 95 and above in the tests and exams. This has always kept me on my heel and made it my challenge to score the grade. However hard, I still score the grade. Teacher viola also introduces a session whereby, we challenge each other verbally with questions. This is such a nice experience.
Thirdly, the lesson is well organized, and the teacher is well prepared. In the whole term, every lesson had it main point of concentration, such as grammar, set books, poems among others. The organization that the English lesson has made me looks forward to the next class. Moreover, the teacher is also extremely organized by virtue of the clear and well-ordered notes she provides in class. She also has online and well understood online references.
Another point that has left me desire for more of the English lesson is the close relationship between students and the teacher. In contrast to the other lessons where the teacher enters the class, teaches then leaves, an English class is highly engaging where we end up discussing our internal challenges or views on the emerging trends in the world such as politics or the entertainment front. The teacher always lends us her ears and tries to engage also in her capacity.
Another issue I have found fun with the English class is the audio learning. This involves the time when a radio is brought to class, and an English tutor from the other end of the studio teaches some concepts on English and then at the end we get a chance to ask questions. This is point I enjoy most as students ask silly questions though useful. It is even more fun when actors are brought to school to act on selected set books. It feels good to see those beautiful ladies wear ragged clothes in the name of acting.
Another reason I enjoy the English class is because the teacher shows and exhibits a great sense of expertise and full of knowledge. This is exhibited; by the way, she tackles queries in a professional way. She ensures that the students understand every aspect. The teacher also enough experience to answer any English questions. She is humble and a down to earth lady. She has 25 years of experience in teaching high school English.
Additionally, despite the fact that I talk only languages; Chinese and Korean, I still get to have fun in an English class. The teacher and the students in class are indiscriminating and are welcoming and embrace togetherness. To me English is a foreign language and therefore it makes me eager to learn new concepts and words. Through my hard work and dedication, I have always excelled more that the native speakers. I enjoy most seeing my name mentioned as the top in the class.
I also love my English because I am the only girl in the class in a class of twenty three men. I am unique and every guy admires and wants to talk to me. I also get a platform to express my feelings about men and what they should change in society. Additionally, I get a chance to study and learn how my opposite gender behaves, and how to handle them. I also found out that gentlemen talk a lot of horseshit which makes them perform poorly in exams.
While developing up, I always wanted to be a good article writer and journalist. The English class has therefore advanced my career by not only making me a fluent speaker but also a fluent writer. I have gained the skill of writing quality papers. There before I was not in a position to not only speak fluently but also write. I have improved tremendously to appoint where recently, a magazine company in my country has recommended to be writing them column. I have also auditioned for several jobs in the entertainment industry as news reporter and I hope to be considered.
In conclusion, I would urge all students to have a positive attitude toward every subject if they want to enjoy it and also excel. Attitude plays a significant role. Likewise, teachers should be able to control their class and acquire the public speaking knowledge to at list win the attention of the students.
