Instructional document
Introduction
This instructional document provide an overview of the key elements put into consideration during the implementation of e-learning systems. The document aims at ensuring that there is a high level of effectiveness of the system both to the user as well as to the institution. Moreover, the best practices will be outlined in pursuit of effectiveness and the benefits of the implementation of the system reviewed.
This instructional document aims at equipping e-learning system implementers with skills to ensure a smooth translation to the use of the system. Moreover, information on the effective integration of different modules is provided. Effective user adoption of the system is also encouraged and information on the system use will be dispatched to the user as well. This implies that the document aims at solving a multidimensional challenge of implementing an e-learning system in a holistic manner. The overall time required for implementing an e-learning system is stipulated. It is pertinent to note that the implementation process must be in line with the academic calendar of the institution. Moreover, the time line should accommodate the period required for testing the system with actual files and users. The internalization and the knowledge acquisition levels of the participants determine the success of the training. Moreover, the ability to successfully perform an e-learning system installation across a certain scope is also a key indicator.
Moreover, the participants will be required to outline the key observable characteristics of successful e-learning system. This section outlines the resources required for a smooth implementation of e-learning systems. This include the human resources required their qualifications and experiences as well as the materials resources such as equipment. System developers are necessary to ensure adequate customization of the system to suit the needs of the institution. Adequate hosting resources are necessary as well as bandwidth capacity should be put into consideration during implementation. The hosting capacity is determined by the size of the system. On the other hand, the bandwidth capacity is determined by the projected frequency of use and loading of the system by users.
The instructional setting
The proposed instructional setting will incorporate a theoretical setting as well as practical or laboratory setting. A maximum of twenty participants will be allowed in to the theory class at a time. In the theory, class principles of e-learning systems will be articulated in detail. Through the practical participants will be able to interact with the proposed system and understand different features of the system. It is pertinent to note that the practical aspect will be of highest value to the participants since it will equip them with hands on skills.
Instructional criteria
Logging (IN) for first and subsequent users:
At the top right corner of the platform, there is tab for logging(IN) and create account for new users. The primary approach used in the training will be through demonstration using a sample system.
Moreover, instructors will offer short theoretical lectures. Practical exercises will be encouraged along the program to enhance skill acquisition. All the sessions will incorporate questions and answer sections to allow participants to make different things clear.
How to edit a personal profile:
A profile can be edited from the settings option. Select my profile settings and open a new window where you can enter information about new courses. A picture can also be uploaded as an identity for the profile through the user picture option provided.

Once the option for upload file is selected, the file picker prompts the user to browse and select the file.

The first level is a pre-program evaluation, which is pertinent in determining the participants understanding of e-learning systems. Moreover, aspects of experiences with the systems will also be articulated. This will be achieved through a pre-course assessment. This assessment will use of open assessment tools and gauge the need of each participant. At the post program, assessment the satisfaction of the participants will be gauged and compared with the expectations determined at the first level of evaluation.
Group messaging and live chat:
In house communication is supported by the system. To create a new chat or message stream the course is selected and the chat option selected. The user should then select edit option to get to webpage that offers different chat options. The messaging option provides a platform for group messaging. However, the sender must select the category of people the message should reach through the navigation pane.

Changing course settings
It is pertinent to note that after an instructor has created a course there might be need to determine the settings for the materials to be used. This is achieved by selecting the edit course option at the specific course web page.
