A. OPC is an international company that explores and produces oil and gas together with other chemicals.
1) The company operates in Latin America, Middle East and North America.
2) The company’s headquarter is in Los Angeles, California and has close to 13,000 workers as of December, FY2013.
3) The company revenues stood at $24,445 million and an operating profit of $9,400 million in December, FY2013.
B. The company has a strong market position to enable it drive a top-notch growth
1) The company is one the largest in America in the production and exploration of oil and gas.

A. Oil and gas segment
1) The oil and gas segment explores, develops, and produces oil, gas liquids, and natural gas.
2) North America operations are located in California while the international operations are located in some of the Arab countries such as Yemen, Qatar, and Libya.
B. Marketing Midstream segment
1) The Midstream marketing segment purchases, transports, market and stores some of the oil products such as carbon dioxide, natural gas, NGLs, power, and condensate. Consequently, the marketing segment trades the company’s asset that includes storage and transportation facility.
C. Chemical segment
1) The chemical production segment is mainly for chemical manufacturing and marketing such as caustic soda, potassium chemicals, chlorine, chlorinated organic, chloride monomer, ethylene dichloride, and chlorinated isocyanurates among other chemicals.
