The implementation of ACA has increased accessibility of health care for many Americans. This has been critical. The ACA has adopted various implementations mechanisms. Firstly, the ACA ensured that the process of implementing the market reforms takes place swiftly. The health care act took the establishment of healthcare insurance to market and expanded the eligibility of Medicaid to adults with low incomes (Gardner, 2009, p. 419).
Allina Health has welcomed the ACA. The implementation of the act has seen the management use the resources at their disposal to connect its patients. The essence of health reform is to strengthen the provision of healthcare services. The organization’s CEO supports the healthcare act based on its objectives. For example, the act ensures that there is care based on value. The health care facility (Allina Health) has removed restrictions that bar individuals with low income from accessing medical services. The federal state has played a key role in sensitizing the health care providers on the significance of the act. The health care program seeks to expand its Medicaid programs. ACA stays in line with the Commonwealth Fund objective in the promotion of excellent health care that has improved quality, efficiency, and accessibility to vulnerable people (Cutler, 2015, p. 337). For example, the less fortunate in society cannot effort the regular medical care. At Allina Health, fellow workers had different reactions concerning the implementation of the act. For, example, some of the nurses complained that workload would increase since the hospital would be admitting many individuals. Some cited insufficient resources for the larger population. However, the act counters for concerns. The ACA has sought the establishment of more health care providers to be able to serve all the citizens.
Minnesota citizens have felt the impact of the ACA. The citizens were able to access the medical services. The health care providers have reduced payment formula. Therefore, living standards of the citizens have been improved. The purchases are based on Exchanges; this has helped citizens to be able to enroll in the Medicaid with ease.
