Admission Essay
Degree objective: MBA
The thought of studying Business Administration past undergraduate level has always been alive in me ever since I stepped into the first Business Administration class. To me, being an elite business administrator is the most important achievement I want in life at the moment. It is for this reason that I have always done everything directed towards making be become an exemplary BA student- I am glad I am a felicitously forward-minded individual. Besides being forward-minded, I am intrinsically motivated to become a business administrator. I posses emblematic written and oral communication skills that enable communicate effectively with virtually everyone. My dedication to team play is also symbolical.
It is indubitable that I want to study BA up to PhD level. As it has always been hypothesized, even a journey to go round the globe must always begin with a single step. I took the first step by enrolling into an undergraduate BA program. I find it inevitable to seek admission into a MBA program before any further academic considerations (a second step). For the last five years, I have seen an unusually great transformation in me. Initially I was a visionless individual. I wanted to become anything as long as it could promise me an admirable wage. At some point, I wanted to become an engineer because Eddie, one of our neighbors back then, was living big- driving the best cars in the market and dressing in the latest fashion. At another point, I wanted to be a musician (even though I could not sing a single stanza of Ja Rule’s song without mispronouncing several words in a row after singing the first line) because of the wide attention the musicians receive wherever they go. All these changed when I got involved in a youthful charity organization intended to raise money for the homeless people in our neighborhood. Joining and becoming just an ordinary member, I rose the ranks agilely and was holding a helm position in less than four months of me joining the group. Manifestly, the group, though very small, achieved a lot with me as the administrator. This is how I realized my potential in the business administration field.
My enrolment into business school for undergraduate studies was, therefore, a precalculated move. In light of the tremendous transformation I have undergone within such a short period, am convinced that in five years time, I am sure to have obtained my MBA degree and will be hopefully be enrolled into a PhD program. Besides, I am doing all I can to make sure I start a small company by the end of one year after completing the MBA studies. I am driven with the notion that the ability to start and run a prosperous business venture in an adept profession of the essentialness of a business administration course. Again, I am aware of the arduousness of setting up a new company. For this reason, I am unremittingly on the look of any opening in an organization (profit or non profit) where I can offer my services as a business administrator. I am confident that in five years time, will probably have secured a job with a leading business organization. I must also admit that I am a soft spot for small and growing businesses as they always face a plethora of challenges that require impeccable administration skills. It, therefore, will not come by surprise that I will be working with an upcoming business organization. In the long term, I envision starting a consultancy firm that particularizes in offering advice to small business organizations as well as individuals intending to venture into business.
With regards to my academic goals and the importance I vest on finding a quality MBA education, I find it inevitable to seek admission into an institution that assures me of nothing short of quality education. I am peculiarly interested in the MBA program offered by the American University of The Middle East (AUM) because of its singularity. Basing my argument on my one day tour of the school, I candidly profess that the program in unrivalled in Kuwait. The university offers a collegial experience to its students; a much-needed experience for anyone seeking a serious MBA program like me. I am to a fault impressed by the MBA class sizes in this institution; the class sizes are small which makes learning in the institution an enduring experience. The structural component of the classes is yet another striking feature that heightens my desire to get admission in this estimable institution of higher learning. The fact that the university is affiliated to Purdue University, one of the worlds renowned universities, for accreditation, quality assurance, observance and curriculum development, further warrants why I am colossally interested in getting admission into this university. It cannot pass without mentioning the qualifications of the instructors at the American University of Middle East- the instructors, according to one of my friends enrolled at the university, are friendly and staggeringly knowledgeable.
I look forward to getting admission into the American University of The Middle East (AUM).
