Linderman's adoption of project organization was positive in that it was undertaken by careful selection of the top-notch specialists in the various fields. These fields include the industrial engineer, production planner and the equipment buyers that have proven worth the task provided their extensive experience in their field of specialization. This was far boosted by the fact that Carl Conway, the project manager had the experience of managing large defense projects in the aerospace industry and his experience proved valuable in the success of project Mexicana by building the project team around him.
The protocol followed in the success of the project lies in the fact that no under scrutinized opinion could be undertaken without the assessment of its viability in maintaining the project to ensure it meets or exceeds the expectations that are put forward during its inception. Carl Conway leadership skills enabled him not to settle for less for instance in the case of choosing Bob Cates as industrial engineer despite opposition by Sam Sargis who wanted to propose another specialist. The project comes as a success since the top of the cream individuals suited to the job whose experience is not questionable and their record of accomplishment is known including the industrial engineer, production planner and the equipment buyers who are in their fields.

Carl Conway faced challenges in the choosing of the key people in the project success. This came in the situation of the division managers having reservations on the same as well as personal obligations taking a course in the middle of the whole selection process. For instance, Sam Sargis did not want Bob Cates taken away from him since he was grooming him for future responsibilities when he retired, and Mill rejected the offer since he did not want to face uncertainties of losing his job after the end of the project as advised by his wife. Burke made claims of wanting to tender his resignation. These reservations limited the scope of the project manager in deciding on the best individuals for the task due to the challenges and the confrontations with the section managers and personal ambitions taking charge.

The uncertainties that revolved around the whole project serves as a big reason for resisting joining a project proposal that is linked to a blurred future regarding the security of a future task after the project is complete. In the above case of Mill, he is worried about losing the job after the project and his wife advises him so. It is certain that in the process of the project, there is a takeover of the positions by Mexican personnel, and this means the labor provided will be rendered useless during the transition period. Therefore, it proves a big reason to worry due to the uncertainties that arise during the transition. The grooming and the need to assume future tasks also takes Centre Stage and others will not take the risk of losing the job but on the contrary, they would rather wait for the promotion.

Conway took his problem with the engineering vice president to Linderman since the latter was the former boss of his engineering man , Frank Fong . The engineering vice president had refused to authorize the priority in changing the production drawings to the metric systems provided in the previous work they had with the engineering man. Therefore, the change had proven futile in the change process and, therefore, prompted Carl Conway to take this task to Linderman for considerations.
Carl did not take the task to the manufacturing vice president since they had an experience of confrontations with the latter in the case of Bannowetz who wanted to join the production team but the vice president claimed that he would tender his resignation if he was taken from him. He had, therefore, recommended Conway, a man that he found fit to handle the task instead of Bannowetz. Burke stated that his workers will not work under the metric measurement criteria according to the desires of Conway and, therefore, it was the second time they were differing in the line of thought. Conway did not want to take the matter to a personal level and was, therefore, keen to avoid harboring feelings with the vice president. He decided to take the available option of talking to production manager and equipment buyer since they could not work with metric drawings as purposed by the vice president in contrast to Conway who was trying to test Lindeman's articles.

Lindeman industries could have specifically set aside specific positions and jobs that are specifically assigned to the people that come off the project. These positions should be exclusively theirs without having to go through the official procedures of selection or vetting but be employed in the fact that they are from the end of the project Mexicano. This provides a security and immunity without having to worry about the future and, therefore, providing peace of mind as they handle the project. This tenure provides the best personnel without having reservations, as they feel insecure in the process after coming off the project.
Another possible way of ensuring their job market security is to ascertain them to resume their previous work by partially replacing them and having them back at the end of the whole project. This will prove valuable to them. It will, therefore enable them make impulse achievements and impress knowing that they will resume their work finally, therefore, this ways assure them job security.
