The changing status of children and self-report
Some children tend to be more privileged than others. This is usually so because of the levels of resource access they have and the kind of parenting they undergo. The kind of environment where they are brought up is also a contributing factor. Inequality is not only limited to social classes as it also evident in the same social classes (John, 2013). This is mainly influenced by parent’s preferences and their involvement in the upbringing and day to day activities of their children. As such, some children end up short changed as their parents focus more on other aspects of development such as providing material resources. This is all usually at the expense of the children’s upbringing and mental growth as they are deprived of parental love and care.
Yes I would tell a stranger about crimes I’ve done though I would try as much as possible to minimize the amount of personal information I give. This will all be in an effort to try and contain a situation where the information I divulged would be traced back to me. I would also try as much as possible to minimize my involvement in the whole scenario to at least save face as it is important how people view me and the level of respect they accord me.
One reason why people lie is to avoid punishment. Therefore lies are made up as a cover to disguise previous done errors or as a way to justify one’s actions after the errors have come to light (Mary, 2016). Another possible reason why people lie is to gain the upper hand in a situation or get benefits that are not entitled to have under normal circumstances. To make this possible lies are formulated to fit the situation at hand and falsify the impression to another party’s eyes and discernment.
