The Church witnessing the future in the present is imbued with the desire to spread out the word of God in a heroic and loving manner. Living in Christ and following in His footsteps have ever been the perfect heart of the most churches spirituality. Therefore, the full transforming power and glory of God’s Trinitarian must be maintained at any time in the humans’ life manifestation and their lineage through the church mission. Hence, the church must have a proper vision of its future achievements by deepening its focus on the current ways of spreading the word of God as well as critical methods of preparing its members for the kingdom of God.
However, most churches have witnessed the future in their present situations through various ways of deliverance; for example, some have created awareness on the theological understanding of God’s mission. The entire theological understanding of the Christ’s mission is a critical root of every church effort to attain its stability as well as a way of getting closer to the light of revelation especially that of the mystery trinity. Thus, the starting point of all the religious activities is the order and promise of the Risen Lord from its Trinitarian outlook: “As my Father has sent me, even so I send you then he breathed and said unto them, receive the Holy Spirit, John 20:21-22”. Also, it is highly illustrated in, John 3:16-17 that God so loved world, that he sent his only Son, that who believe in him should never perish, but have eternal life God never sent his begotten Son on earth to condemn the world, but save the world (Kohlenberger 918). Therefore, it is critically evidenced in the Bible that all churches must follow the footsteps of Jesus as a way of keeping the continuity in the mission accomplishment. Hence, the church witnesses its future through the modern ways of spreading the gospel to non-believers, which determines the total number of its members as well as its future existence and effectiveness.
Additionally, the church can witness its future from the present by being a well-equipped church that addresses the challenges and opportunities that people face in life today. A well-equipped church should be able to keep its members’ faith grow stronger to enable them have courage in God’s work by giving a live example to them as well as using objects for demonstration. For example, the book of John 13:3-17, talks about how Jesus washed his disciples’ feet to show them the correct way to becoming a good servant leader. Also, Matthew 13 illustrates the parable of the sower; there was a better chance that he stood on the land to make his followers have the practical view of his teachings. Hence, most churches should practice a visual communication to show the practicability of the future productivity, which is stronger than merely stated truth to help them have growing future.
In conclusion, uplifting individuals according to God’s power and action is another way a church witnesses the future in the present. Therefore, inspiring people by the word of God is a deeper root of every church to affirm its stability for the eschatological reality. Hence, preaching the forthcoming of the Kingdom of God, through the Ignatian view of the church reveals the pure meaning of every word of God. For example, God says in, Isaiah 41:10 “do not be afraid, for I am always with you; do not agitate, for I am your Lord. I will encourage you and help you; I shall uplift you with my entire right hand” (Kohlenberger 637). Hence, the church witnessing the future in the present a reality practises.
