Many civilizations have already existed since time immemorial and it shows the progress of mankind through the development of culture and intellect such as the arts and sciences. Civilizations like Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt have greatly influenced their surrounding nations with enduring cultures. Along with these advancements, writing system and oral communication are borne along with the advent of a political system and the formation of society and its institutions. Mesopotamian and Ancient Egypt civilizations have greatly benefited in the age when people learned to assimilate ores to produce bronze. Smelting copper and tin yields the prized bronze alloy which was firm, correspondingly resilient, and easier to reproduce compared to copper and thus its use spread swiftly from weapons to artefacts (The Beginnings of Bronze). The progress of civilizations needed some way to convey their jurisdictions and through this need, a writing system was developed. Cuneiform is regarded to be a great cultural influence to the Mesopotamian civilization since documentation of economic, political, scholarly and religious documentation was tabulated in this syntax (Mark). To the Ancient Egyptians, Hieroglyphics conveyed the stories of their kings and queens, and the glory of their cities (Parsons). Political organization served the people well in preserving their monarchy and their knowledge in alloys aided their armies resisting invaders. Despite the decay of time, the culture of these civilizations never waned.
