The evolution of American history shows that during 1960s, there were older people in White House. During this time, people wanted more youth to be in the top government positions in order to present fresh ideas in the formulation of policies. According to them, the older people were using outdated ideologies that did not match the existing system of governance. A person has to undergo some testing to determine whether he possesses intellectual skills. This kind of examination may also help in determining the level of wisdom possessed by an individual. Intellectual skills should be possessed in order to make timely decisions that comply with the current time schedule of activities.
Experience is an important aspect that can be used to explain intellectual aspects in the society. This can be viewed in the American history. This history shows that many politicians served for various periods in the government. The experience gained by these leaders has improved their intellectual skills. Richard Nixon had been vice president for around eight years. Political analysts have argued that this experience has enabled him to gather important skills that contributed to the formulation of economic policies.
In order to achieve good intellectual skills, one has to possess good personal reputation. Self deception is important in nurturing excellent skills that are intellectual in nature. During the late 1700s, provision of criminal justice involved the use of social skills. Possessing these skills promotes equality in the society. This is no longer practiced in the present time since people have developed skills of solving social problems in a better way. In all the activities undertaken by citizens, law should be respected in order to promote consistency in legal aspects in the country. Legal realism enables politicians to use intellectual skills in the most effective way. Before coming up with conclusions in the social environment, social leaders should concentrate on finding the aspects that cause the problems being solved.
The use of theories affects the choices made in the government. The use of facts is important in solving cases in judicial courts. Facts are mostly used by defendants to clarify intellectual aspects in the subject matter of a case. Intellectual clarity is important in showing the exact situation of a case in the law courts. This will help in providing a justification for making a certain choice. If a judge makes a decision, he should clearly state the grounds for making his judgment. Some of the prisons in America have been faced with the problem of violence. The main reason for this is that some of the inmates lack effective intellectual skills.

Literacy has three important frameworks that help in explaining the use of intellectual skills in the social life. One of these is functional literacy, which helps in relating certain symbols to expressions. Critical literacy is the third framework, which is important in analyzing and giving a reflection of past actions that have been undertaken. Literacy involves the use of symbols to a large extent. This helps to explain the human nature in the review of intellectual matters.
In Africa, important documents that contained important information about the past history of the countries had been eliminated. In America, Bishop de Landa was associated with the destruction of important books that contained issues relating to the ancient social life. According to him, these books contained certain aspects that were demonic. However, major authors in the United States of America have advocated for the conservation of the ancient books. According them, keeping good record of the books will help conserve the history of the country.
The culture of a person is an important determinant of the intellectual skills he has attained. Influences by various cultural groups may also enable a person to change perception towards a social issue. Intellectual skills should enable a person to come up with clear conclusions that are based on evidence. Acquiring these skills starts with analyzing the past behavior of ancient people. Some of these skills are inherited from ancient people. From the ancient books containing social issues, people in the modern world can learn important social skills. They can advance these skills to come up with adequate knowledge for solving day to day problems. In order to promote transition in social behavior, there should be effective documentation of ancient social books.
