Summary - Chapter seven
When he gets home, he finds his daughter still awake. The daughter was still awake, purposely to show him the report card she had from school. In that report card, she had had scored ‘A’s. In response to this determination of the daughter, he kisses her and promises her of his love. After putting the daughter to bed, he starts thinking of his business again. Though he comprehends that he has got a little time to shape things in his business, he requires much more time. This makes him think swiftly. He finally decides to look Jonah, aiming at talking to him.
Summary - Chapter 8In the morning, when he gets to work, he realizes that Peach is on the phone. Once he gets to work in the morning, he finds out Peach is calling on the phone. On seeing him, Peach attacks him and blames him for his decision to boycott the meeting yet he keeps on meeting him over the phone for a whole day. He, therefore, decides to go and look for the old contacts records from his mother’s house in order to trace Jonah. After contacting many other people, he finally gets Jonah. Jonah decides to give Rogo three measurements with specific definitions in order to calculate the goal. Unfortunately, the conversation is cut short ones more and Jonah leaves Rogo to find how best to define the measurements as per his plant.
Jonah tells him that the three terms will greatly assist him in running his plant all through and will operationalize his expenses. He says that everything in the plant can be under three categories into three main categories i.e. throughout, operational expense and inventory. Throughout refers to the rate of money generation through sales by the system while inventory refers to all the money that has been invested in what it intends to sell. Operational expense on the other hand refers to the money spent by the system in processing. However, the conversation ends and Alex is in need of more explanation.
