Introduction to the problem
The healthcare sector is now experiencing the rapid and important change with dramatic change yet to come. In a challenging and evolving environment, the organizations like healthcare ensure the high levels of professional and technical expertise. They used to develop the leadership capacity in order to adopt new services and succeed in the future. According to Solansky (2010), a rising profession in healthcare management is increasing the chances in both direct and non-direct care settings. The problem is to increase the diversity of healthcare organization staff and manage issues that occur in a multicultural environment. Funding is important in healthcare institutions so that the issues related to the prevention and reduction of inadvertent harm to patients as a consequence of their care can be maintained.
The purpose of applying this methodology is to find out what effectiveness of the leadership program and its competencies acquired funding for the creation of a leadership during the program. Making better use of funding will cover healthcare costs such as making a payment to specialist therapy. It may also include housing if the care is provided in a care home. The leadership program inspires the individual to work untiringly in order to adapt system based knowledge of a vision for better future. Managers are expected to be required inpatient and outpatient care facilities with the highest development in positions of managerial happening in outpatients centre, physician practices and clinics. Thomas (2011) mentioned in his research that the care settings provide important assistance to direct care organizations where the number of direct care managerial positions is expected to enhance considerably.
Usually, the leadership development program is suitable for clinicians who seek to transition into executives, administrative and management roles. This shows that program will respond to the requirements of adult learners. This leadership development program will embrace interprofessional pedagogic approaches in order to strengthen the health systems and improve the results of the healthcare.
The research intends to attain the following objectives;
- At what extent funding for the creation of the leadership program can be implemented?
- How leadership program can be developed by funding?
- How the program might be improve and explain its use and effectiveness in the program?
- What are the advantages and disadvantages of the leadership development program that can be developed by funding?
- How the issues of the leadership development program can be resolved?
- Rationale
- The purpose of applying this methodology is to find out what effectiveness of the leadership program and its competencies acquired funding for the creation of a leadership during the program. The fresh and unbiased data will be gathered to take survey questionnaire from approached and targeted individuals. The case studies will give the understanding of the leadership competencies which illustrates the future of the healthcare industry.
- Scope of the study
- The parameter under which the study will be operating is the leadership development program that will be created via funding. However, leadership is a broad topic due to which we will be using competencies as a factor to analyze the theories that will be applied to develop leaders in the leadership program for the healthcare industry.
