NeuroFascia is an interesting topic that teaches about the connection between the fasciae and the nerves, which traverses the entire body. After doing the method number two, which is being the person under treatment, I felt the essence of Neurofascial therapy when it comes to relieving body’s nerve problems. In fact, it was written that Neurofascial bodywork courses can deliver a natural sense of a full-range, nerve-oriented technique (neurofascia.com). It was also a different form of learning when I was the one who were being treated using the Neurofascial technique, which was quite different compared to being the one who provides the treatment itself.
I found the volunteers who agreed to provide me with the treatment by asking some of my friends if they know some individuals who are somewhat holds the idea about Neurofascial therapy. Using the social media, I found some people, whom I have common friends with, and they agreed to participate with this exercise.
I chose to do this assignment because I thought that for me to better understand the Neurofascial approach, I should be able to experience how it is being done and what it actually feels like. Since I was able to find group of people who were willing to participate with this activity, I was able to further understand how Neurofascial actually works while on the table receiving the treatment. I also chose this assignment because I was interesting to know the how basic methods can work efficiently towards the nerve tissue. Thus, I would like to have an idea how the therapists collaborate different techniques in order to create tensile balance, mobility, and functional health in tissues and nerves.
