The Republic of Nazione is a big island that lies in the Western Pacific and evidently reveals its beauty among the Asian countries. Nazione is an Italian word for country and/or people. And this has something to do with its type of government, which is Republic. Having a Republic government is greatly pointing towards the countrymen; they have the right to vote for their representatives for the country, province(s), and even cities on their own preferences. In the past 11 decades, Nazione is run in monarchy; the power of the government is passed on through heredity rights. At the first years of its government, the monarchs were just and wise in their rule. But it didn’t last until the 6-month violent revolution 43 years ago. Thus, the countrymen decided to place rulers under their discretion, so as to assure themselves that the leaders will use the power and resources for the benefit of the whole country and not of themselves.
Although Nazione is composed of 15 provinces, the power is held by one central/main authority – making it a unitary government. There are of course many representatives or group of political leaders for each province, but the administration of the government in its entirety is held by one party who won in the election, most especially the President. The Legislative and Judiciary branches of their government are only the ‘second’ in power when it comes to the administration of the government. They may propose and implement laws for the government; nevertheless, the final decision on implementation comes from the Executive branch.
In this reason, the President ought to be greatly eligible and assured that such great responsibility will be taken and be done right. For the past terms, the presidents of Nation –especially the last 15 Presidents – made right, just, and wise administration of the government. Such required eligibility of the President is the main reason why the whole election process is different in Nation. By the way, the voting of the nominees happens every 3rd week of September and the term of being in authority lasts for 4 whole years. Now in election, the qualification of any political nominees will be based on his/her achievements in the past. In most countries, the person eligible for the Presidential position will be making promises for the countrymen of future works to be done by the new administration. The countrymen of Nazione don’t support such idea and practice on election. In election, a person may be qualified only when he/she became part of the judiciary or legislative body of the previous administration, or became an administrator of any local institution. The president should have enough knowledge of the law, and what makes law a law. He/she should acquire deep knowledge on how to be fair and just in running the government. Moreover, he should have been an administrator of any local institution in order to have the experience of working with common people, addressing their needs and wants. Instead of being nominated and merely stand speaking about his plans for the next 4 years of his administration, the nominee should first have highly esteemed achievements [in the local institutions or in the judiciary/legislative body] in the past 4 years. Many promise to give support for the people when they are already in authority, but in Nazione, leaders have already given great support before they are nominated as the country’s most influential and powerful leader.
Being in Asia is a privilege for agricultural industry. Having its rich resources of wheat, corn, spices, etc., Nazione has good economy. The government instituted many agricultural farms in specific places within the country. In this way, the government is doesn’t find it hard to deal with food supply of the people. In fact, the price of the food is very low for the countrymen. They export agricultural products to other countries, but not at the expense of letting the country’s own supply lacking. Moreover, the rich marine resources allow them to have more supply for food, not requiring the government to still rely on other countries for food. The only alternative work for the people is freelance work, which allows them to get jobs from abroad through the internet and work on them at home. The productivity of each individual is greatly at the most. That’s what makes the economy grow. Moreover, the ownership is in terms of socialism. In this way, the government itself rules the industries, not allowing any selfish intentions rule the economy – especially when it comes to prices of goods and services for the people.
The taxation system in Nazione is good as well. The tax paid is based not on the size of the family but on income. Poor people seems to almost not pay any tax at all; the rich people – who have businesses – are the ones who pay [high] taxes. This is established for the sake of allowing economic balance for everyone. The poor people will still be able to attend to their needs since most of their income will not be brought to taxation. On the other hand, high taxes for the rich people will not allow them to make their own economic prosperity to grow too high, leaving the poor people poor. Both the rich and the poor will be paying tax according to their incomes. In this way, public services are completely available to everyone. Although poor people do not pay tax at the high rate, they can still have the privileges of public health and the likes – since the government receives high money [for these public services] through the taxes of the rich people.
With regards to the military body of Nazione, it is not big enough compared to other countries like USA, China, Israel, Arab countries, and so on. The government doesn’t invest much on military works. The leaders, 29 years ago, signed a contract with the United Nations indicating that Nazione will not be involved in any international war-related endeavors. They have some military units in the country only for the purpose of self-defense in case of any unjust actions taken upon them by other countries, and for the purpose of peace among the people. However, what seems to be uncommon in its military units is that policemen and soldiers do not have any uniform. In an interview with the military officials, they say that in this way the people will not be able to recognize who among them are policemen and/or soldiers. Criminals will always be afraid to do something since they do not know whether the one(s) they are going to kidnap or rob is a policeman or a soldier. This, according to the officials, lessens the probability of crimes.
Furthermore, when it comes to religion, Nazione is a Christian country. But since quite a number of migrations took place for the last 10 years, the population grew twice (now it is about 50,000) and the public is already composed of mixed religious beliefs and practices. Christianity is only deemed as the national religion only when it comes to virtue and morality. The leaders believe that only Christianity gives the full and reasonable truth about God and man’s need to fear him, which can be manifested by living righteously. However, Christianity is not used for any law-making processes so as not to allow any religious discrimination for those who do not belong to Christianity. The government publicly promotes Christianity, but does not use it as a means to discriminate those who do not adhere to Christianity. People of different religions are still allowed to publicly worship their gods without being discriminated by the government.
Lastly, the Republic of Nazione makes itself a good place to go to because of its natural spots. It has about 29 beautiful resorts, [strictly] managed and maintained by the government. The weather is normal, and since the land is mostly of agricultural form the air people breathe in is always pleasant. But the most important and pleasing in Nazione is a just leadership and the unity between the people and the government in making the country at its best.
