This book is a revised version of “Illustrated companion to South Indian classical music” was published in 2009. The book is a completely revised and updated and includes the latest available information on the subject. The information provided in this book gives updated information for the research topic.
Relevance
The book focuses on Indian music and my topic discusses the Indian music, its instruments and composers. As such, the information from the book relate to my research topic. This book targets students, experienced professionals in music, and interested amateur. This edition simplifies difficult concepts, but not in simple manner, making it appropriate for undergraduate level. I have looked at a variety of books and found this book is suitable and I am comfortable using this source.
