The Universe Season 6 Episode 3: How the Solar System was made is video that shows and examines the origin of the solar system. The solar system came into being about 4,6 billion years ago. It is now a solid and secure home for all the inhabitants of the universe. Nevertheless, critical issues need to be examined about it. For instance, hoe did it come to be? In the third episode of the universe season 6, the system’s birth is traced from what it used to be, a thin cloud of dust and gas.
The clip shows that the natural rotation and pull of gravity was shocked by a supernova. This caused it to spin into a flat disc from which the planets and the sun coalesced. This all happened within a period of 700 million years during which all the planets in the universe jockeyed for position. This they did by dodging asteroids which were deadly and brutal. They ended up in the stable systems which exist today.
The narrator in the video raises critical questions which need examination. For instance, how did the solar system suddenly emerge from its oblivion of interstellar chaos? Evidence shows that at present, the sun and the planets hold clues which should show their origin. These clues are held in very small particles which are virtually invisible. Nevertheless, another critical question is, are the titanic forces which created the solar system common throughout the universe? Or are we unique? The universe has very many strategies which crafted the planets and the stars, however, there is only a single strategy which it used to craft or make the solar system
