Introduction
The population growth in the world is a major environmental issue which requires the attention of everyone. The rate at which the population of humans in different countries is increasing leaves us with the question, is earth in the position to sustain this increase in the population and what are the major effects of this issue (Livi-Bacci, 76). The rate at which the population is growing has become the major concern of many in relation to the environmental problems being experienced in the world today.
After research on a number of issues facing the environment in the world in general, most causes of these issues involve human interference in one way or the other. Hence, decided to take a look as to why this is happening, which lead to the human population on earth: due to this fact the levels of clean water have dropped, the rate at which pollution is taking place as a result of high population is constantly reducing the sources of clean water all over the world, deforestation has been another problem as land is being cleared to create more land for the continuously growing population. The Poverty rate in most of the countries in the world is rising which is another negative issue and all this as a result of population numbers (Coale et al., 123). Also, the continuous rise in population leads to less availability of job opportunities in the job market which leads to rise of poverty levels in the countries. Hence out of all this drew the conclusion that most of these environmental issues have got a connection to the rapidly growing human population rate. And with this clearly stated I decided to choose this as my research proposal.
There are several research methods that will be implemented in my research which includes observation this will involve the observation abilities of the populations in different areas choose for the study (Livi-Bacci, 76). The other applicable research method includes samples and sampling procedures for the example of different places where the population varies.
