Theory Y can be the best to use when managing a business. By this, the employees will have to do their work without much supervision and very few strict conditions. This will make them feel that they are reliable thus they will perform their best. Motivating the employees also makes them feel important and have the urge to work harder. It was concluded that the behaviors of a leader should be consistent with the attitude they have. Leaders should also ensure that they maintain good relations with their employers. They should also be consistent when managing the organizations. (Tushman, 1989)
The process of management has some skill areas. One of the skills is human skills. This skill involves how one is able to interact with other people. They are very important at most of the managerial levels. The other one is the conceptual skills. This involves the ability to come up with ideas that will help the organization fully. The last one is technical skills. This is the ability to perform specific tasks with the use of techniques, methods and knowledge which have been acquired from training, education and experience. (Tushman, 1989)
