After hearing the term class room management, the first view that comes into one’s mind is that students are sitting in a class room, neither laughing nor passing comic books to other students and paying attention to the teachers. Of course this is a part of class room management but actual meaning is broader than this one. A well managed classroom generates positive and effective results for the students, enhances the proficiency of teachers and further inspires them to deposit more efforts towards the students in the classroom. Class room management is a process of making the environment of a class task oriented, where students do not unnecessary interfere in the teacher’s job as well as do not disconcert other students. In a well managed classroom students concentrate on their study, always be determined to learn relevant things and maintain the discipline in the class room.
In America the responsibility of class room management is considered on both, teachers and students. A good teacher makes balance between the discipline and liberty in regard of students and manages the class room in a manner so that it does not affect the process of learning of students. At the same time the sense of discipline among students is also not compromised. Teachers always believe in maintaining discipline in the class rooms. More or less these below mentioned strategies are implemented in American schools for class room management:-
a. Effective environment for learning
b. Establish classroom manners
c. Motivational environment for students
d. Make every minute count
e. Keep students engaged
f. Teach life skills and other good manners
g. Be always creative
h. Project design

In most Asian countries class room management is not as we have above observed in the America. The reason is perhaps the difference of sources also, most Asian countries lack on this front and it affects the whole process. More or less, teachers and students both are responsible for class room management but students are held more liable for the class room management and there is process of punishment if they practice indiscipline. Teachers are concerned more for discipline and in this course they often ignore several aspects including the liberty of students. In the class the liability of a teacher is bigger to manage the students and class room.
Conclusion
After observing the class room management of America and Asian countries one can find out that there is a huge difference between the ways of managing the class rooms in both the regions. There are several factors that affect the class room management of both the regions. Though Sources play a major role in establishing the management in class rooms but if the strategies are implemented in the Asian countries as they are implemented in America, it would bring a huge difference in the whole process. The teachers of Asian countries are also required to be trained in a way, so that they can understand the mentality of students and that how they can make discipline in their class and recognize the liberty of students also. For class management only discipline is not required but there are several other factors also that play an important role in this process.
