The nature of the communities living in a country, forms of land ownership, the government characteristics together with the laws enforced are not crucial if a right perception of Muslims across the globe is to be set. However, there are ways that Muslims need to conduct themselves to live Faithfully in the contemporary world. The main reason behind the need to come up with these ways is that political and colonialism actions that define forms of “protection” have led to significant transformations in Muslim nations. Economic, as well as political factors, have forced many Muslims to migrate to western countries to secure jobs and security. In these western countries, Muslims have been subjected to stereotyping which has affected the faith of Muslims. Muslims have been termed as terrorists which has had an adverse impact on their faith.
One way to that can be applied by Muslims to live faithfully in the contemporary world is to continue the teaching of Islam among the young. When Islam is well understood among the growing and used well, it will be valid in every place and all the time. This means that even if the young migrate to western nations in search of jobs, they will be equipped with the expected level of Quran knowledge that will guide them through challenging times. The teaching of Islam will also lead to the universal dimension teaching of Islam which is termed as the idea of alamiyyat al-islam.
Secondly, given the fact that concepts such as dar al-harb, and dar al-islam were not initially described in the Sunna or the Qur’an. Today, there has a been a complete transformation of reality which requires Muslims to go back and to the Sunna and the Qur’an. This is done in light of the environment that Muslims are living it for the purpose of deepening analysis to come up with new visions based on Islamic religion that fosters living faithfully in the contemporary world. Therefore, rereading, reconsidering, and revisiting increases the Muslims understanding of Islamic teachings which is necessary (Ramadan).
