WEB SUMMIT CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE
Dear Mr. Jones,
This morning, I have been invited to attend a major technology conference called Web Summit, held annually in Dublin, Ireland. Each year, leaders in technology meet at this conference to network and create partnerships across our industry. Web Summit presents a remarkable opportunity for Bip-Bop Technology Solutions to create new partnerships, increase our market share, and improve our bottom line. Based upon my leading sales records and recent performance reviews, I should attend this conference to accurately present our company's goals for the next decade, as well as our line of products.
Moreover, the organizers at Web Summit have invited me to give a 20-minute presentation at next year's conference, held from November 5-9. This is a unique opportunity, and offers Bip-Bop the spotlight to achieve global recognition. I am extremely excited about this offering. However, the organizers of the conference have informed me that Bip-Bop must foot the bill for expenses to attend the conference. Considering the upside, the expenses are very negligible, and I have calculated them to be merely 2,000 dollars. I am asking you to help us improve our international profile by defraying these expenses.
Should you approve of the allocation of monies for expenses, I would need a timeline in order to make our presentation, which would require a half-day off from work every month through October 30. I have also broken down the expenses as follows: hotel, $500, airfare, $900, food, $300, car rental, $150, and a negligible research budget of about $150. As I must leave on November 4 to attend the conference, I would need six days off from work here, as well as the five days to devote to Bip-Bop's conference presentation and sales booth at Web Summit.
At the conference, I plan on presenting our current market strategy with respect to our most recent line of gaming software, MaxPlay. I also plan on setting up a display booth that details our global marketing plan, and providing our brochures -- as well as other pertinent information to other companies' representatives, as well as potential clients. Again, this is a great opportunity for us to get the word out there about Bip-Bop Technology Solutions, and its new product line, MaxPlay -- on an international scope.
Among possible immediate benefits to our company is a projected increase of vending contracts of 4% per annum. Over the long-term, I have projected a possible increase of 3% per annum in terms of revenue growth, once our clientele have been established. We have not had such a revenue increase since the merger with SuperCube in 1995. Our global sales positioning will improve as a direct result of Bip-Bop's attendance at Web Summit.
Moreover, with your consent, I would like to make a presentation of my findings from my attendance at Web Summit -- along with projected increases in sales and vendors -- once I return home. As November 22 has a light workload for our employees, I thought this might be the most practical day for the presentation. Our employees will appreciate the possible increase in our profit margin, as well as the heightened international awareness of our product line -- especially your brain-child, MaxPlay.
It is my sincere hope that you can offset the expenses that the attendance at Web Summit will require. It is a very exciting opportunity, one that I feel we should not pass up, given the recent competition in our industry. I am enthusiastically looking forward to being an international representative of Bip-Bop's new high-quality line of gaming products.
