The website that I usually use in order to obtain insight into any health problem symptoms that I encounter is webmd.com. WebMD is run by a corporation called WebMD. There is a WebMD Medical Team that supervises a whole group of health specialists who are required to continuously update information available on the website.
Health experts employed by the corporation provide medical advice and information on all issues. The website has employed editorial staff specifically for the field of medicine, who write and edit medical information as provided by the doctors and health specialists from all around the country. Therefore, the website has not only employed excellent doctors to provide the most accurate and up to date information, but it also employs the best editorial staff to ensure that the information is put forward in the most understandable and best manner. The website says that it has employed journalists who have won awards for journalism. The staff also consists of personnel who hold recognized degrees in nursing, medicine, medical illustration, etc.
The information is usually updated on time to time basis. Moreover, the article pages usually have a ‘last updated date’ item, which we can check to see whether the page was updated recently. Due to its user friendliness and the credibility it has developed, I might trust the information for my own health, only to the extent of recognizing symptoms or to obtain further insight into a problem that has already been diagnosed. However, I would not be able to trust the website completely in order to diagnose and administer myself medicines. This is because symptom recognition also needs expert guidance, and that is better provided by a doctor personally.
