What Human Error Means To Me Creative Writing Sample

Human error is the weakest place in any computer-based system as computers can be perfect and people cannot. People make mistakes, and this can be the main reason of the system’s collapse. Human error takes places when someone breaks the rules or does not follow all procedures, and it results in an accident and a failure of the system to complete its functions.
We all may make human errors. Such errors can be found in any activity that we perform every day. For example, a person named Tom drives home every day from work at 6pm and every day he choose the same way to get home. He knows every detail of the route and he can drive it home with his eyes closed. However, one day he did not notice a red light and got into an accident. Although he knew the process of getting home very well, his failure prevented him from following all steps that had to be taken to get home safely.
Tom’s wife Molly was cooking a dinner when Tom was driving home. Every day she cooked the same meal, and she could cook it just as Tom could drive home. She could do it without any difficulties, and she never overcooked anything. However, it happened that the same day Molly was getting the dinner ready, but something went wrong when she realized that Tom was already supposed to be at home. Although she perfectly knew how to cook the meal, a single thought disrupted the whole process. If Molly was a robot, she would never have any feelings and they could not prevent her from making a perfect deal.
These are two examples of how human errors can change our lives, and these examples clearly show that no one in secured from making human errors that can happen in our everyday activities that we may know in the best way possible.
