Dominant leadership is much present in the movie. For instance, George Bailey, as the main leader, delegates the responsibility of the family business to his uncle, who later lands him into trouble of misplacing $8000 (Willian 9).
4. What were the strengths of the primary “leader”?
The main strengths of the leader are that he was a respectable man. He treated the community with a lot of respect, which also earned him respect in the eyes of the community. George was sociable, decisive and a good leader. He interacted well with the community members, with whom he came across. Additionally, he showed courageousness when he denied Potter the chance to buy his family business, even when he knew that it was hard for him to manage. George is also empathetic, responsible, and accountable. He understood the problems of his family and the community as a whole and decided to forgo his dreams to serve both.
5. What were the weaknesses of the primary “leader”?
George shows nepotism in his leadership. He hired his uncle to run the business, while his uncle was not so much versed with the job. His uncle, Billy, almost ruined the business because he was not good at it. George should have considered somebody experienced. Moreover, George easily gives up. When he thought that his dreams would no longer come true, he decided that he would commit murder (Willian).

According to the situation of George, leaders are born. In the movie George was a sociable and a respectable person, long before he took over the family business. He loved his family and wanted the community to fare well in his own eyes. He gave up his ambitions and dreams to make sure that society was better than he had seen it. 7. How did the primary leader use their power (be specific)?
George used his power to help the community. For example, he prevented the Potter, the powerful, rich man, from buying his family business because he never wanted the community to be abused or left in a sorry state. He knew that Potter would make life hard for the people of Bedford Falls, by making the loan business hard for people to afford.
