China has a great history of using unique traditional medication means such as Tai Chi, herbs, and many others. Of late, the medications have shifted from traditional means and narrowed to science. Much of the current medications means heavily rely on science and technology. Admittedly, there has been many scientific studies both on the specific operations of tiny body organs and breakdown of illnesses in ways where the application of scientific concepts is possible. Examples of Chinese medications that borrow a lot from science includes
Herbal therapy for the treatment of some allergic reactions.
Treatment of patients suffering from hypertension using food therapy
Treatment of Dysmenorrhea using Danggui Shaoyao San (DSS)
The three have clearly shown that Chinese medicine depends much on scientific skills and applications. Here is a breakdown of each.
Herbal Therapy for the Treatment of Some Allergic Reactions
The traditional Chinese medicine has been applied in healthcare provision in Chine for long. These medication means have proved much effectiveness besides their low costs and high level of safety. In this respect, many scientific models especially the herbal formulas have been developed out of this tradition Chinese medicine. For instance, the herbal formula-2 commonly abbreviated as FAHF-2 is a product of the TCM principles. Through the application of the murine model of peanut allergy, the formula, FAHF-2 has been found to be effective in the protection against the allergic reactions accruing from peanut prompted anaphylaxis. Additionally, other TCM principles have also great effectiveness in treating and controlling any food-related allergic reactions (Wang and Li 1).
Various scientific studies have proved the TCM to use complex scientific formulas like the one in the FAHF-2 formula. Ion the development of this formula, Wu Mei Wan, which is a classical 10-herbs formula was used as a basis for the development of food-related allergic reaction formulas. Admittedly, these allergy formulas have demonstrated a prominent role as a novel treatment for the allergic reactions (Wang and Li 2).

Treatment of Patients Suffering from Hypertension Using Food Therapy
Chinese medicine has been found to rely more on the food therapies. The Chinese health practitioners apply the therapies in the treatment of allergies and many other illnesses. A study to make an evaluation of Chinese food therapy effectiveness in treating Yin deficiency, control of hypertension as well as their side effects proved positive results. The study involved two groups of people where one group received some instruction on diet and the management of anti-hypertension while the other group received just a brief of health training. Precisely, the intervention group recorded a more improvement. After 12 weeks of Chinese food therapy, Yin deficiency symptoms had improved significantly. The study thus concluded that the food therapy is effective in restoring the body from Ying Yang state of imbalance (Shen et al. n.d). The therapy is adequate in improving the quality of life of people dwelling with hypertension.
Treatment of Dysmenorrhea Using Danggui Shaoyao San (DSS)
Depression is known to be the most common problem affecting many people all over the world. Chinese people apply scientific studies to come up with therapies such as Danggui Shaoyao San to control depression. The DSS therapy has a long history in China as a result of its effectiveness in the treatment of Dysmenorrhea. A study on DSS examination of its effectiveness in controlling stress concluded that the DSS-induced a higher therapeutic influence in hypersomnia caused by chronic restraint stress (Zhou et al. 1).
As seen in these therapies, the Chinese medicine mainly involve a scientific understanding of the illnesses and later applying the easiest available treatment like the use of food therapies. The study of the illnesses involves complex computations and analysis. Admittedly, it’s hard to understand how the different organs operate without the use of sciences. Much of the studies of the illnesses involves the use tools and equipment developed using scientific innovations. For instance, the health department first examines the illness, looks on the ways it can be restored or controlling, carries out the tests and finally decides on the best treatment procedure to treat the illness. Science has enabled the Chinese medicine to incorporate the traditional medications in the current treatment of allergies and illnesses in the most effective and safe ways. Rather than consuming many herbal substances, science has helped in the extraction of the specific content of the herbs needed for the treatment of a certain illness. The innovations of machines through the application of science in the field of science has enabled many tests of high accuracy and precisions thus improving the overall healthcare provision. A good example is the use of software like ANOVA in the analysis of test results and the use of controlled conditions through the application of a variety of scientific means.
