These methods have different effects on people and teach new lessons on dating experience. All these methods can work well for some people, while many people are still seeking better ways to find their partner. It is possible that there can be other means that can be chosen by people to explore a partner (Shpancer, 2014). This paper will discuss basic methods that are chosen by people and offer alternatives that can be equally effective, if not better for finding a partner.

Matchmaking used to be one of the most common ways for people to find their life partners as parents used to find partners for their children. Even though times have changed, today friends help in match making their friends and finding suitable partners for them. Meeting life partner through social group is a common norm in today’s society. Matchmaking has its benefits as people get to know a person in advance from the person who introduced them and gives some form of grounding on the person before meeting them in person. Matchmaking makes the dating experience shorter as people are introduced as suitable life partners. It also reduces the timeline of a relationship as people either like the person they meet or reject a probable relationship. Overall, there are flaws in the matchmaking experience that can be filled by other methods such as hanging out.
Hanging Out
In recent decades, hanging out has become the most common method for finding a partner for many people all over the world. It is a widely accepted method of finding a partner as people tend to find comfort better with people they know already. One of the most effective and commonly used methods by people for finding a partner for themselves is hanging out with them. This can mean several things, but the main idea here is to meet a person and spend quality time with each other and learning more from interaction. Hanging out helps to ensure that before committing to a relationship, a couple is aware of each other choices and preferences and increases the chances of adaptability. The quality of dating experience in the case of hanging out is significantly high as it increases the opportunity to interact and chances to adapt to each other.

It has become a rage, especially with the busy schedules of people and limited time people are willing to commit to courtship experience. Online dating is a preferred method for finding partners for many people as it gives them, convenience and ample amount of options. In the past, there is some form of stigma attached with online dating, but it has changed somewhat with better technology and the popularity of some online dating websites. Many people join multiple online websites to increase their options and approach more people for dates. In addition, it also increases the chances of people to find several options for them. The quality of dating experience is different for different people, but many people believe it is not the most effective method for finding a suitable partner.
Speed Dating
It is another method that is widely accepted and many people participate when they are searching for a partner. People pay for speed mating meetings where they get to meet multiple options in person. Basically, speed dating allows people the opportunity to meet and talk with different people for a set time and then they need to move on to another table. This process continues until people have met everyone available for the meeting.

There are many ways chose by people for finding a partner such as matchmaking, hanging out, online dating, and speed dating. These methods have different levels of popularity and they have different levels of quality of dating experience. Hanging out and match making increases the quality of darting experience, whereas speed dating and online dating have lower level of dating experience. Dating experienced can be enhanced by following certain rules that would ensure the people with be able to develop their relationship.
