Nowadays people are exposed to the different positive and negative influences every day because of the increased mobility and interaction with the other people and organizations online and offline. Receiving and rethinking so much information has become a difficult thing for many people. However, we should not limit the rights of the American people, even if we know that there is a segment of the population that is exposed to the negative influence. The better thing to do would be to use the warnings in order to make sure that the people know the consequences.
Amendments to the U.S. Constitution cannot be specific, because this document is like a code of conduct for the country. For sure, despite the numerous societal problems we want to continue to live in the democratic society with plenty of opportunities for everyone. In the meantime, there are legislatures at the state or federal level and even councils at the local level that should work faster in order to pass the new legal acts that will help to regulate the areas which bring the largest number of problems to the society, for example the issues of gun control, crime, unaffordable higher education, gender inequality, etc. Organizations that interact with the people should be made to publish warnings in such a way that a person understands the possible consequences. For example, in the drug industry the warnings on the drugs are quite effective.
In conclusion, it is important to understand that the utopia cannot be built in our society. The USA is a very large country with 323 million people that have an extensive set of rights thanks to the U.S. constitution. However, some industries can be better regulated and thus the risk of the negative influence on the consumers of a specific service or product may be reduced. Rewriting the Constitution and making it more specific would be surely the wrong thing to do, because it would destabilize the country that has been built for several centuries.
