This paper deals with the assessment of the answers of a given question.
1. There is no doubt that human development significantly gets affected by its surroundings as per discussed in the ecological model of human development. There are different types of environment systems that influence human development specifically in the young children in terms of their behavior. Micro system deals with the adoption of the behavior due to the direct environment such as family, friends, classmates, neighbors and other people with whom young children come in contact. The mesosystem deals with the relationship between the microsystems in the life of an individual such as children’s family environment brings impact on his behavior that he will show at school. In the Exosystem, person does not possess active role in the setting but behavioral adoption can be noticed. According to the macrosystem, human behavior majorly gets influence by his culture. Whereas, chronosystem deals with the transition and changes that occurs in person’s lifespan that affects his behavior. Personally, I have experienced the certain impacts of environmental system such as macrosystem and exosystem during socialization. Such as, when my father moved abroad to set up his business I had to live with my mother that led us towards making a strong bond. Another example of my socialization is influenced by my culture that I have certain set of beliefs that does not allow me to perform any kind of violation or to support nudity (Berns, 2013).
2. Traditions, rituals and routines, and symbols play an eminent role in the learning of the children. These are the important tools that influence children’s behavior and assist them in dealing with transition and losses. Such as, traditions allow the individuals to express their values and beliefs. It gives them identity that who they are and what are the things that seem important to spend their lives. Whereas, routines gives the opportunity to individual to express their common identity, their shared beliefs and values due to which they can easily give their opinions (Friesen, 1990). It gives the opportunity to the individual to understand daily life and to understand their responsibilities. Rituals have multiple impacts on individuals. However, rituals are also the main source of transmission of values and beliefs. Rituals help the children to understand their traditions, culture, and religion. They also contribute in the development of family identity of the individual. Rituals act as a vehicle to transmit the family identity into the young children. They also provide support and contentment for strong emotions.
3. Socialization has varied impacts on the children, and it plays a significant role on children’s development. Such as the ‘Social-Emotional Development’, that deals with the relationship or interaction between two or more individuals in which all the members respond and influence each other behavior (Tomlin, 2014). For example, during early education when children join their school, gradually they start understanding the emotions and get influenced by the behavior of their friends or teacher. There are several factors that influence child’s behavior during their early education such as ‘Family and Parental influences’. According to the studies it has been proved that acceptance or rejection and control- autonomy majorly influence child’s behavior in its early age that also bring different impacts on their early education and child’s learning process. Similarly, the ‘Punishment and Discipline’ also brings different effects on the development of the children such as when child misbehaves with a teacher or parents. In that case they must use some discipline or punishment that can be in the form of scolding, yelling, degrading or ignoring the child. Punishment and discipline can bring varied impact on a child. For instance, if a child hurts the other student in the school then, teacher’s reaction to the situation can bring either the negative or a positive impact on the child. In that case, if a teacher teaches him discipline and forces him to say sorry to a friend then it will bring a positive impact on the child, and he will avoid such activities in the future. On contrary, if a teacher yells or beat the child as a punishment, then it will particularly lead the child to become more aggressive next time.
