Background
The inclusion of learners with special needs is gradually becoming a major concern to various governments (Holt, 2004). With the enactment of the Disability Discrimination act of 1992 and changes in community perceptions towards individuals with disability in Australia, mainstream primary educational institutions have had to prioritize children with disabilities’ inclusion (Forbes, 2007).
