Executive Summary
Health policy is particularly unique and unlike public policy in other areas, has some characteristics that set it out as a special kind of policy. Perhaps this is the reason why it attracts substantial political attention. The interest groups of health policy – the patients, the professionals, the government, the policy makers, the government and the non-governmental bodies – are keener on the changes in such policy than are stakeholders of other forms of social policy.
