As an art, music is very interesting and engaging. One of the most symbolic and imperative periods in music is the Classical and romanticism periods. The two periods are similar in one way and are also different in another way. A comparison of the two periods depicts that genres in music are very distinct and unique. To start with, the Classical period which took place between 1750 and 1820 entailed a variety of Western musical styles particularly from 17th to the 19th century. This period falls between the Romantic and Baroque periods. The renowned composers from this period include Ludwig ...

The Name of Professor
It`s time to get to know how does the music industry work and how every musician, producer and manager feels himself in the industry – how he earns his money, how he works, how he is protected by law and what are his perspectives in such career. We`ve got four different scenarios that we should describe, and we should give as many details as possible.
The first one to describe is a singer and/or a songwriter, who is not signed to any label. He performs his songs live, and his songs are sometimes played on the local radio. It` ...
Background
This is a review of the second concert that I have attended in the U.S. I have attended several musical concerts and I have already been aware of the different styles that the bands use or may use for their performance. I have also been exposed with the types of music that could be usually associated with particular places. With that in mind, I would like to let the reader of this report know that I already had set expectations before I went to that concert.
Concert at University of South Alabama – Department of Music

The concert in the school hall of the University of Evasville in Indiana was a real shocker and hugely interesting. The percussion ensemble performed some very modern works with huge aplomb and everything came across as very striking indeed. One aspect of the concert which was perhaps overlooked by other critics during the event was the excellent level of acoustics which was prevalent throughout the whole evening.
The concert began with Russel Peek’s ‘Lift Off’ composed in 1966. This work attempts to emulate the lifting off of an Apollo space rocket very much in keeping with the space programme ...
