The recent studies have shown that infant mortality has increased in the horn of Africa. The horn of Africa especially the refugees camps have one of the utmost infant mortality rates in Africa. Approximately almost 800 children die every year. The causes for these flabbergasting figures of mortality rate are many (Unicef, 2005). One of the main causes of these deaths is the failure to immunize infants against disease.
