Abstract
The phenomenon of apparent motion occurs when two stimuli are separated by a flash or a blank in which the brain creates the effect of movement. It can be compared to the effects of moving pictures, for example, in which a series of still photographs are put together in such a way that the image appears to be moving. The purpose of this research is to assess the phenomenon of apparent motion in terms of the interstimulus interval, the gap between two stimuli that most accurately conveys movement to the perceiver.
