Introduction
The just theory of war has its roots in the ethics of war embraced by ancient Roman Empire and the catholic gurus of theology. Arguably the earliest proponents of the catholic faith, Augustine of Hippo and Thomas Aquinas endeavored to explain why and how war was religiously justifiable.
