An operating system that supports handheld mobile devices is known as Mobile Operating System. The first mobile operating system was launched by IBM in 1995 in its Smartphone; IBM Simon. This was the world’s first Smartphone. Subsequently, mobile operating systems were developed by Microsoft, Nokia, Google and Palm Inc.
