Abstract
The effect of Jesus, Charles Darwin, Martin Heidegger and Joseph Schwab on higher education is at once complex and subtle. Jesus revealed the essential simplicity inherent in passing on knowledge to others. Yet the lessons he imparted reached average persons on many levels and altered the course of history.
