Abstract
Managing small businesses is a complex undertaking that requires skills and perseverance. This is based on the understanding the small businesses face some challenges that are unique. Some of the key issues include limited access to funds, limited access to professional skills, and overdependence on the family. The small business managers also complain of long working hours and the need to be present in the running of the business.
