Abstract
Collecting blood culture samples is an important part of data collection for the process of diagnosis. The results of such a test can provide information regarding the presence of bacteria within the patient’s blood with great certainty. Therefore, it is an integral procedure for the verification of a prognosis. Unfortunately, there are a variety of factors that can lead to false positives of these tests.
