Introduction
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a psychiatric disorder characterized by behavioral symptoms such as inattentiveness, impulsiveness and hyperactivity. The exact reason for ADHD remains unknown. However, research indicates that ADHD runs through families, which means that the condition is inherited from one’s parents (Brown, 2005).
