Introduction
Negotiation is the process by which two or more people settle their differences divide a resource. Effective negotiation techniques, therefore, become essential since we are faced with many conflicting situations in our daily lives, where the parties involved want to satisfy their conditions (Fells, 15). Such situations hence, warrant a detailed understanding of the concept of negotiation if a favorable outcome to both parties is to be realized.
