For a long time in the history of the world, women were never allowed to participate in shaping the histories of democracy .They were classified as minors whose main activities were confined to family affairs. Men dominated the political arena where conventions formed the basis of constitutional amendments. They protested against Slavery from the colonialist until they gained freedom.
