Five Guys’ Philosophy
The Five Guys’ philosophy centers on a value for money concept, which is “focused on a limited menu with quality, award-winning foods” (DataMonitor, 2010, p. 1). More specifically, Five guys’ burgers are a bit more expensive than their competitors, such as McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Burger King, but the price discrepancy is compensated for by better quality, that is, Five Guys uses better quality beef, and they also cook their food in peanut oil (Weise, 2011), which would be healthier than regular oil.
