Abstract
This paper researches the issue of religious discrimination in the workplace – an increasing phenomenon reflecting the increasing diversity of the workforce. The key issues involved are discussed and researched by means of a literature review, taking particular note of the situations as affecting the smaller business organizations. Pertinent legislation and case examples are discussed, and the ways that employers might head off potential strife within their workforce arising due to religious differences.
