Abstract
Tourism has raised major concerns with regards to environmental pollution due to its rapid growth and development. Sustainable tourism has therefore, become the best way to ensure the coexistence between tourism and its environment. In this paper I discuss the initiatives that are being undertaken to reduce impact of tourism to the environment. I conclude with emphasis on the need for such initiatives to be promoted.
