Abstract
The choice between breastfeeding and bottle (formula) feeding appears to be one of the fundamental decisions that await both new and expectant parents. Quite a number of health bodies including World Health Organization (WHO), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and also the American Medical Association (AMA), all recommend breastfeeding to be the appropriate choice for infants (Andres, Cleves, Bellando, Pivik, Casey, & Badger, 2012). Breastfeeding assists defend against several chronic conditions, prevent allergies, and protect against infections.
