Introduction
Fried Green Tomatoes is a 1991 comedy dram film written by Carol Sobieski and Fannie Flagg. The film tells the story of a friendship between two pairs of women – Ruth and Idgie during the Great Depression of early 1930s as well as that between Evelyn and Ninny in the 1980s.
