INTRODUCTORY MATTERS PAPER: MINOR PROPHETS The book of Hosea was written by prophet Hosea whose prophecy dates back in days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah Kings of Judah and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel (Hosea 1:1). His service extends from about 770 to 725 B.C.
