The cardiorespiratory system is considered healthy if it is able to transport oxygen to the muscles during prolonged exercise and when the muscles are able to absorb and use the oxygen. Aerobic exercises can condition the cardiorespiratory system. Aerobic exercises can be grouped into three types depending on the skills demanded by the activity.
