Southwest Airlines Co. is one of the major airline companies in the USA. Currently, it is the world's largest low-cost carrier. The company has its headquarters in Dallas, Texas. Herb Kelleher established the firm in 1967 (Southwest, n.d). The name Southwest Airlines was adopted in 1971. By the end of the 2014/15 fiscal year, the company had approximately 50,000 employees.
