Introduction
Aeolian processes occur in environments such as deserts, agricultural fields, and coastal regions. The features of such environments include a nonexistent or sparse vegetation cover, strong winds, and a supply of fine sediments. In Egypt, the increase in human population has led to the lateral spread of human settlements from the Nile’s flood plains to various locations in the western desert land.
